Terms & risk

A plain-language collection of the disclaimers shown across the app. This page does not replace them; it puts them in one place.

Testnet by defaultUnless your wallet is explicitly connected to Robinhood mainnet with real-money trading enabled, nothing here has financial value.

Not an ETF, not an investment

Tokens on ETFPad are not ETF shares, give no ETF exposure, pay no dividends, carry no redemption right, and have no financial value beyond what buyers and sellers agree on the bonding curve. An ETF theme (SPY, QQQ, etc.) is a label only. ETFPad is not affiliated with, and holds no license or agreement from, any ETF issuer.

The backing fund gives you no claim

0.5% of every trade is set aside per theme and earmarked for future ETF backing. It is not backing today. If ETF backing never ships, that fund stays in the treasury wallet, under the operator's control, indefinitely. No refund, pro-rata or otherwise, to past traders is promised or implied. The fund's balance and the treasury wallet's own on-chain balance are both public so you can verify the swept ETH is still there, but visibility is not a claim.

The owner can pause launches and buys

The contract owner may pause new token launches and buys at any time, for any reason, without notice. Sells and every fee claim (creator fees, treasury sweep, protocol fees) can never be paused by the owner or anyone else — this is enforced in the contract itself, not just policy. A banner appears across the app whenever buys are paused.

Unaudited contracts, live on mainnet

The launchpad contracts are unaudited and the operator has explicitly enabled real-money trading on Robinhood mainnet. Using ETFPad on mainnet is entirely at your own risk: smart contracts can contain bugs, an audit has not been performed, and this project offers no warranty of any kind. A local Anvil chain and Robinhood testnet remain available, where nothing has financial value.

Your keys, your responsibility

ETFPad never holds your private keys or funds. Every transaction is signed in your own wallet. You are solely responsible for verifying the network, contract addresses, and transaction details before signing. There is no recourse if you send funds to the wrong network or address.

No investment advice, no solicitation

Nothing on ETFPad is investment, legal, or tax advice. Reference ETF prices shown for context come from a third-party market data provider, are for information only, and never set or influence any token's on-chain price.
